Your Invitation to ‘Shaping Future Transport for Chester’a Transport Strategy Consultation

Your Invitation to ‘Shaping Future Transport for Chester’a Transport Strategy Consultation

Date: Thursday, 12 September 2013

Time: Registration and Refreshments from 8:00am. 8.30am start until 10:00am

Venue: Riverside Innovation Centre, Castle Drive, Chester CH1 1SL

We are consulting on the strategy between early September and mid October 2013.

This is your invite you to attend this breakfast event, hosted by Cheshire Chester Leader Cllr Mike Jones, which will provide us with the opportunity to present to you the themes and specific schemes we have developed for the Transport Strategy, and colleagues will be on hand to answer any questions, queries or concerns you might have. This is also chance to hear about the Connecting Cheshire ERDF Funded Business Support Programme linked to the roll out of ’superfast’ broadband.

This session  builds on the session held earlier this year to discuss initial findings and conclusions as part of the Transport Strategy being undertaken for Chester. The session was extremely useful and helped to provide a steer as to the direction and shape of the emerging strategy. We have since that time, a rigorous Option Selection process has been undertaken, leading to a shortlist of schemes considered highly beneficial for the city which will form the proposed ‘Transport Strategy’.  These schemes have been packaged into a set of 26 key interventions which we believe will help to deliver the objectives of the strategy most effectively for Chester.

You input and insight is essential and we value your attendance, to register your attendance at this event please follow this eventbrite link:-https://shapingfuturetransportforchester.eventbrite.co.uk
