News from members of the Ellesmere Port and Neston Business ForumScatchards Wine tastingScatchards have regular wine tasting events each month in our shop in Hoole. Have a different night out at one of our upcoming events: Thursday 25th July – French Evening £15.00 per head. Our guest speaker will be taking us on a tour around some of France’s most famous regions, and some lesser known ones as well. Eight delicious wines will be tasted, and our expert speaker will tell us some fun and interesting facts about each one! Thursday 25th September – Champagne Tasting £27.50 per head We have a wonderful Master of Wine to take us on a tour around the most famous wine region in the world. We will be sampling 8 superb champagnes, including at least one top marque. Learn some fascinating facts about Champagne, and enjoy some fantastic wine. Both events begin at 7.15pm and finish at approximately 9.30pm. There will be a light buffet served during the evening. Forum LCD Projector for Hire!!Many companies cannot afford the cost of an LCD projector or use one infrequently and cannot justify the capital costs. To address this need, the Forum has purchased a projector that can be hired by the members as well for use at our meetings. The procedure for hiring the projector is: 1. The overhead projector (Epson EMP-X3) will be kept at Stanley Staff’s offices,
2. The projector can be loaned to members (non-members are exempt) for an agreed amount of £20 for 48 hours, £50 returnable deposit, subject to the return of all parts/pieces in same condition. 3. Should the projector be returned damaged or missing any part then the repair/replacement of part(s) will be paid for by the member responsible.
