The March meeting of CEPN was held at Chester sports and social club and was attended by 28 members and 8 first time visitors. Food provided by Office Food.

Speed Networking with a Twist

Guest speaker was Eric Hearn who spoke briefly about owner/managers having more pressure to succeed in their business’s. Eric Hearn also highlighted the opportunities available through the NWDA mentoring programme.

‘Speed networking with a Twist’ was the main theme of the evening when all members and guests were given 1 minutes to speak about their business though the eyes of  a third party by  giving a reference to the business. The evening closed with the raffle of wine and a book donated by Marie-Claire Carlyle.

The next meeting is 8th April 2010 at Chester Sports and Social club,with the AGM at 6.30pm, followed by Paul Rutherford, Sales Leadership Development Ltd.

Our June meeting was treated to 2 fabulous speakers, firstly Romy Barnes stood in at the last minute for Ida Moos and gave a practical talk and demonstration of how your posture when sitting and standing can help remove the cause of back pain.

Helen Adams gave us a motivational talk on ’10 ways to make your Business Grow’ – interacting with everyone and stimulating us all to think about we represent ourselves and our business.
