Facebook and LinkedIn
Both Facebook and LinkedIn are forms of social media. But, don’t be put off by the term ’social’ as although some forms of this media can be and are used by people as a way to meet people and keep in contact they are, at the end of the day, networking sites.
Facebook and LinkedIn are both great ways, if used properly, for companies to do their networking and increase business. They give you the opportunity to keep in regular contact with people in your networking circle.
Facebook offers status updates and reminders, which allow your clients to follow your business and its progress and alert them to any new product or service you have or events you’ll be attending.

Whereas LinkedIn allows you to network in a different way. You are able to create a profile, which contains, in a way, your CV and history. It allows individuals to look at you, find out about you and become part of your network before hiring or doing business with you, which is invaluable as it focuses on building up trust – and if your potential clients trust you, you are already ahead of your competitors!
